Michael Maglaras In Performance: Snow-Bound

In this video, Michael Maglaras reads an excerpt from John Greenleaf Whittier's poem "Snow-Bound." The Library of America calls Michael Maglaras's reading of this poem "The best recording of Snow-Bound...".



This video excerpt is taken from a full performance of this poem he made at the St. Lawrence Arts Center in Portland, Maine on Sunday, December 12, 2010.

Homer's Prouts Neck Home

Today, the 217 Films crew took a trip to Winslow Homer's Prouts Neck home in Scarborough, Maine to scout for a possible shooting location this fall.

The Portland Museum of Art acquired the Winslow Homer Studio in 2006. The Studio and the surrounding grounds are closed to the public while construction and restoration projects take place. The Museum will open the Studio in September 2012.
